What is Art for Thought?

add remove

Art for Thought is a collaborative campaign between the three artists, Asad Ali, Awer Bul,  Elrica Jasmine, and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre that seeks to spotlight refugee art and its power to raise awareness of the challenges refugees and people seeking asylum face in their journey to safety.

The three artists have provided original pieces through Art for Thought so ASRC supporters can receive a free poster and learn about their personal stories and the inspiration behind their art.

If we are not able to contact you on your initial call, we will leave you a voicemail and send you an email. We will attempt to call you again within few days to organise the sending of your poster.

Do I need to pay the ASRC for my poster?

The physical posters depicting the artwork from one of the artists will be provided for FREE. The ASRC is seeking to showcase refugee art and to raise awareness of the challenges refugees and people seeking asylum face in their journey to safety. If you would like to consider supporting ASRC in other ways, please consider becoming a Monthly Donor to the ASRC. Even an amount of $10 a month could help people seeking asylum have enough food to eat and access the basics to live safely.
