Access Their Basic Needs?
Right now, many refugees and people seeking asylum are being denied the right to work to support themselves. Many can’t even access government safety nets like Centrelink or Medicare, so buying groceries or caring for their health is another challenge in their everyday lives.
Will you become a monthly donor and help the ASRC provide food and other basic support? You could help people have enough food to eat and access the basics to live safely.
Your monthly donation can help to
Put dinner on the table for people who aren’t allowed to make a living. This includes vegetables, milk, rice and lentils.
Provide housing to people seeking asylum giving them the chance to feel safe and start a new life.
Donations of $2 and over are tax-deductible. Funds raised by the ASRC are used to advocate for, support and empower over 7,000 people seeking asylum and refugees each year with the provision of support, food, housing, material aid, medical assistance, legal aid, counselling and employment services.
