In times of despair, give hope.
Rising living costs, limited support and an uncertain future: these are the challenges facing people seeking asylum everyday.
Your contribution provides stability and hope for refugee families, giving them access to nutritous food, vital medical care and the support they need to stay safe this season.
Together, we are the safety net. Help keep it strong.
Support for a safer future.
Mina arrived in Australia with no support network, carrying the weight of her children's future and a surprise pregnancy entirely on her own.
In her deepest despair, your support became her hope.
In less than 24 hours, the ASRC was able to provide emergency housing, a few bags of groceries and essential health checks for the whole family.
Today, Mina no longer faces the uncertainty alone. With the stability of a safe, long-term home and the ASRC community by her side, she can finally feel hope for her family’s future.
“We had no income, nowhere to stay. I was terrified for my children. Arriving at the ASRC changed everything, they helped us immediately with food, medicine and a safe place to stay. For the first time since we left home, I felt hope. We weren’t alone anymore.”
Because of generous donors like yourself, the ASRC can continue to provide a safety net of urgent and ongoing care to refugees and people seeking asylum.
In the next year, we expect:
More than 13,000 visits to our Foodbanks
Requests for more than 30,000 nights of shelter
More than 5,000 health appointments will be delivered
540 immunisation appointments will be booked
Each day, individuals turn to the ASRC to find the sanctuary and safety they have been denied elsewhere.
Your gift ensures that in times of despair, there is a place to turn for help. You offer families like Mina’s the stability they need to feel safe and begin to rebuild.
Your tax -deductible donation helps keep this essential community support strong for everyone who needs it.
If you can, please give to our Winter Appeal and help keep refugees safe this season.
